I am most interested in observation, analysis, and production rooted in language, whether it be lettered or physical. I see creative nonfiction as the literary equivalent of choreography, of creatively putting together truth and references to create emotional, embodied reactions. I value art impacting art, impacting art, and so forth. Within this continuing and ever-growing loop of interdisciplinary inquiry, my main academic and professional goal lies in producing academically-engaged creative responses that address both human concerns and the dialogues surrounding them.
